Polpress: The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has reported that in the first six months of the current solar year, 38,000 people in Afghanistan have been displaced from their areas due to climate change and natural disasters.
This agency wrote on the X platform on Monday (August 5) that a large part of these displaced people are children.
UNICEF also stated that this figure has increased compared to 2023.
The United Nations Children’s Fund stated in this report that the reasons for displacement are drought, temperature rise, floods, landslides, snowfall and storms.
